Delegates Database
The Delegates Database is online and open to all ticket holders of the c/o pop Convention 2024. Due to the positive experiences from last year, we have again decided to create a LinkedIn group where we will provide you with important information and offer you a platform for networking. There you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants in advance or make appointments during the festival. We will also update you here with the latest news about the convention! The group is open to all ticket holders and is now active.
If you’re not from Cologne, you can travel by train not only in a climate-friendly way, but also at a super low price. We’ve made a great deal with Deutsche Bahn that gives our ticket buyers discounted train tickets. The event ticket for a one-way journey with train connection (while stocks last) costs 59,00 euros in 2nd class and 95,00 euros in 1st class (including seat reservation). The fully flexible event ticket (always available) costs 82,00 euros for a one-way journey in 2nd class and 119,00 euros in 1st class (including seat reservation). You will receive the link for booking with your ticket for the c/o pop Convention. We wish you a safe journey!
We are now registered with the German government’s KulturPass program. As part of the funding program, all 18-year-olds receive a budget of 200 euros, which they can use for cultural activities such as concerts or the c/o pop Convention. More information and registration here: https://www.kulturpass.de/
On April 23, 2025, the Prize for Pop Culture will be awarded for the first time in Düsseldorf - and we will also celebrate the official opening of c/o pop there. Afterwards, the Verein für Popkultur will travel with us to the convention in Cologne and invite you to the Popkulturkneipe in the Herbrand's beer garden on April 24 - with a relaxed reception and a live set by Schlotte & Laurin. This will be followed on April 25 by the panel “My crowd, my rules” about new ways of fan interaction. The association will also be taking part in the panel “Ausgezeichnet! - Pop awards of the present”, which will focus on current music awards. We look forward to celebrating together in Düsseldorf and exciting discussions at the c/o pop Convention in Cologne!
Music industry with responsibility: sustainability and inclusion
Sustainability, gender equality, mental health, fair working conditions - these are not buzzwords, but real challenges for our society and the music industry. But how can we measure whether something is really changing and where is there still some catching up to do? This is exactly what we will be discussing with the Green Culture contact point in the panel “Sustainability and social responsibility - from knowledge to action”. Exciting examples from FC St. Pauli, Universal Music Germany and us at c/o pop will provide practical insights - because we will be the first festival in Germany to publish our common good balance sheet in time for c/o pop.
The topic of inclusion is also often overlooked: Musicians with disabilities are still far too little visible on stage and in the industry in Germany. Why is this the case - and what can we do to change this? Experts from cultural and social policy and the music scene will address this question in our panel “Pop for everyone? - How pop music representatives can promote inclusion regionally”, presented by the Initiative Barrierefrei Feiern.
